The University have started the process of award of Gold Medals for the pass-out students of B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) Batch-XV. The criteria to award Chancellor’s Gold Medal and Syed Afzal Rizvi Gold Medal is as follows:-

For awarding the Chancellor’s Gold Medal (For overall best performance), the criteria is as follows:-

1. Academic Performance and
2. Participation and Performance in Moot Court – National / International and
3. Publication of Research Paper – National / International journal of refereed / peer-review nature and
4. Presentation and Participation in Seminar – Workshop / Conference – National / International and
5. Extra Curricular Activities and
6. For the above consideration only CVs of those students who have secured 4 (four) or more than 4 (four) CGPA will be called for.

For awarding Syed Afzal Ahmed Rizvi Gold Medal, the criteria adopted by the Academic Council dated 26.12.2008 is as follows:-

1. A list of first top 10 (ten) students is to be prepared who cumulatively secure highest marks in the papers of Cr. P.C., I.P.C. and Law of Evidence and
2. Their performance in Moot Court Competitions is to evaluated. Following above criteria, best student will be awarded the medal.

Eligibility Criteria for any Gold Medal to be awarded is as follows::-

• The student must have completed all the courses under the Programme. For being considered for Gold Medal for a Course, the student must have completed the concerned course in one chance i.e. without any repeat or improvement in that course.
• Improvement shall not be considered for the purpose of Gold Medal.
• There is no proved charge of misconduct on the ground of violation of rules or breach of code of conduct.

For this purpose, it is required to submit your latest CVs with supporting relevant documents, failing which your claim shall not be considered. Your latest CVs and supporting relevant documents are to uploaded on form below and by registered post to be addressed to The Registrar, Hidayatullah National Law University, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar – 492 002 (Chhattisgarh) latest by 07.03.2021 by 5:00 pm, from the students who are qualified for two medals, i.e., Chancellor’s Gold Medal and Syed Afzal Rizvi Gold Medal.
