HNLU, Raipur has 8 seats for NRI and 2 seats for Foreign Nationals category for the five-year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) programme for the year 2021-22. This Note clarifies that: –
- The term Non Resident Indian (NRI) shall be as per the Income Tax Law of India. However, notwithstanding any amendment in such laws, all rights, obligations and duties flowing from the Law and subsisting at the time of submission of the application shall be respected and mandated till the completion of the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) programme at HNLU, Raipur by the applicant.
NRI shall also include their spouses, dependent sons/daughters inclusive of legally adopted children.
- To be eligible for admission to the five-year integrated B. A. LL. B. (Hons.) Program under the Foreign National Category, the applicants should necessarily be Foreign Nationals and should have passed the Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent Examination from India or from abroad from the recognized board/university of that country with not less than 45% marks in aggregate.
- There are no NRI Sponsored seats in HNLU.
