The HNLU Career Development Conclave (CDC) 2022 is set to organize its Sixteenth session on the theme “The Future of Higher Education in Law: Trends and Directions” on the 25th of September, 2022. This will also mark the Valedictory Ceremony of CDC which has previously conducted various sessions on the topics such as career opportunities in law firms, companies, and PSUs. etc. The session will commence with the welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Uday Shankar, Registrar & Professor, HNLU, Raipur followed by the presentation of the report on CDC-2022 by Dr. Ankit Awasthi, Coordinator, CDC-2022.
In the valedictory ceremony, the opening remarks will be given by Prof. (Dr.) V. C. Vivekanandan Vice-Chancellor, HNLU Raipur. The introductory speech will be delivered by Prof. Srividhya Ragavan, Professor of Law and Director of India Programs, Texas A&M University School of Law.
The introductory speech shall be followed by a panel discussion and hosting of the esteemed panel consisting of Ms. Ritu Nichani Mittal, Partner, RR Legal Chambers, Master of Laws in IP, National University of Singapore, Mr. Swarnim Shrivastava, Senior Associate, Saikrishna & Associates, LL.M. in Global Antitrust, Law and Economics, George Mason University – Antonin Scalia Law School, Ms. Shruti Sethi, LL. M. in Corporate Governance and Practice Candidate atStanford Law School, Ms. Kirthana Singh Khurana, LL.M. Candidate at Yale Law School, Master of Corporate Law (MCL), University of Cambridge, Ms. Prerana De, Associate, Trilegal, LL.M. in Antitrust Law, New York University School of Law and Ms. Ketki Kulkarni, Intern, Deloitte Legal, LL.M. in Finance Candidate at the Institute for Law and Finance, Goethe University, Frankfurt. Ms. Ritu, Mr. Swarnim, Ms. Shruti, Ms. Prerana and Ms. Ketki are alumni of HNLU from the batches 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2021 respectively.
The panel discussion will be followed by valedictory speech by Prof. (Dr.) Susan L. Karamanian, Dean, College of Law, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Doha. The concluding remarks will be given by Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Kumar Srivastava, Professor & Dean-ORCE, HNLU, Raipur and vote of thanks will be delivered by Mr. Abhinav Shukla, Co-Coordinator, CDC- 2022.
