Prof. (Dr.) Paramjit S. Jaswal, currently serving as the Vice-Chancellor of SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonipat, is a highly accomplished figure in the fields of law and education. With an extensive educational background, including degrees such as B.Sc., B.L. (Gold Medalist), LL.B., LL.M. (Gold Medalist), Ph.D., and a PDF from London, along with a Fulbright Scholarship, he possesses a wealth of knowledge.

His academic journey spans forty years of teaching experience and forty-two years of research, specializing in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Human Rights, and Environmental Law. Dr. Jaswal is the author or editor of forty-four books and has published sixty-four research papers and book reviews in renowned national and international journals and books.

His exceptional contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including the Nehru-Centenary British Fellowship Award, Bharat Jyoti Award, Fulbright Fellowship, and more. Dr. Jaswal’s administrative expertise is evident in his roles as Vice-Chancellor at SRM University and his previous tenures at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, and Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur. He has held leadership positions in various academic and administrative bodies, significantly impacting legal education development.

Beyond his own institutions, he has served as a Visiting Professor, Adjunct Professor, Distinguished Professor, and Academic Advisor at various academic institutions, fostering academic excellence and collaboration. His dedication extends to his involvement in numerous committees and councils related to legal education and research, including NAAC accreditation and the National Legal Service Authority.

Dr. Jaswal’s commitment to education and extensive professional network have garnered him several prestigious awards and recognitions, such as the Indian Educator Award and the uLektz Wall of Fame’s recognition as one of the “Top 20 Eminent Vice-Chancellors of India.”
