Mr. P.V.S. Giridhar is a legal luminary with a wealth of experience and expertise. He embarked on his legal journey in 1987 after earning a Degree in Law from the University of Madras. Prior to this, he had completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, reflecting his diverse educational background.

During the initial stages of his career, Mr. Giridhar honed his legal skills by working under the guidance of eminent Senior Advocates, namely Mr. P. Jayaraman and later Mr. P. Chidambaram. In 1992, he founded his own law firm, marking the inception of a distinguished legal career. A prominent member of the Madras High Court Advocates Association, Mr. Giridhar also held the position of Librarian within the organization during the year 1998-99. Beyond his legal pursuits, he actively contributes to the community as a Director of Vocational Service on the Board of the Rotary Club of Madras West. His interests encompass a wide array of activities, including reading, travel, trekking, music, and dancing.

Mr. Giridhar’s legal proficiency spans various domains, including Constitutional and Administrative Law, Intellectual Property Law, Commercial Law, Family Law, and Private International Law. He has undertaken cases in international jurisdictions, collaborating with lawyers in the United States, Malaysia, and Singapore. Furthermore, he is well-versed in International Arbitration and holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Patent Law. As a certified Mediator on the panel of the Madras High Court, accredited by the Chief Justice of India, he contributes to alternative dispute resolution. In the realm of Public Interest Litigation, Mr. Giridhar has been instrumental in advocating for issues such as trauma care facilities for motor accident victims, addressing custodial and extra-judicial violence, and advancing public health and refugee internment concerns. His legal acumen extends to serving as a consultant for various United Nations-affiliated organizations.

His extensive international exposure is evident through his lectures at prestigious universities worldwide, including Oxford University, the University of Michigan, and the Brussels School of International Studies, affiliated with the University of Kent.
