HNLU COLLABORATES WITH THINK-B

Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Technology Hub and Innovation Network for Knowledge Bastar (THINK-B), for the purposes of professional collaboration and exchange of legal and business services.

Think-B is an initiative of Bastar District Administration, which operates accelerator programs around the district under its brand to promote local entrepreneurs. Think-B as a business Incubator and Accelerator helps aspiring entrepreneurs to convert their business ideas into working business models.

The key terms of engagement under the MoU includes providing of assistance in complex legal matters relating to business administration, project management and regulatory compliance and to impart legal training to the start-ups working under the aegis of Think-B. HNLU and Think-B also seeks to collaborate for organizing outreach activities such as awareness drives and camps, seminars, workshops, etc. for various sections of society with a special focus on creating awareness amongst the tribal population of the State.

The MoU was signed at a function organized by the District Administration of Bastar at Bastar Academy of Dance and Literature (Badal) on 17 October 2021 in the august presence of Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Kawasi Lakhma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Deepak Baij, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Rekhchand Jain, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly, Jagdalpur and Shri Rajat Bansal, IAS, Collector of Bastar and CEO, Think-B.

HNLU was represented by Prof. (Dr.) Vishnu Konoorayar and Prof. (Dr.) Jaya Vasudevan. The project to come under the Academic Projects Division headed by Dr. Vipan Kumar who worked on the content of the project. Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Srivastava will coordinate the outreach activities of the project on behalf of HNLU.

Prof. (Dr.) V. C. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU said, “The MoU of HNLU with THINK-B is a significant collaboration for HNLU to contribute to the professional requirements of the State Government for development of Bastar and in a way is an opportunity for paying back to the State for all the support the University has received.”
